ASTM A249 TP304L Stainless Steel Welded Pipe is produced to ASTM
standard, stainless steel 304L grade and bright annealed, 19.05 mm
(0.75 in) outside diameter, 1.25 mm (0.049 in) wall thickness, is a
common size for heat exchangers, condensers and other Heating
process system.s.
A 249 Tp 304l is a popular grade of low carbon austenitic stainless
steel. In general, alloy A249 Tp304l is considered a
general-purpose alloy with many favorable properties. One of these
properties is its good formability, which is why the alloy can be
easily shaped and formed into the specified A249 Tp 304l stainless
steel welded pipe. Additionally, ASTM A249 304l Welded Pipe has
good weldability and can be welded using conventional practice
techniques.
ASTM A249 TP304L Stainless Steel Properties SS 304L is a low carbon 304 austenitic stainless steel, in detail,
the carbon content in 304L is up to 0.035%, which can improve
corrosion resistance in many applications, 304L mechanical
properties include tensile strength up to 483 Mpa, yield point up
to 170 Mpa, elongation 35%, hardness minimum 90 (HRB), non-magnetic
grade, ideal material for welded pipe.
304l stainless steel welded pipe is made from a low carbon version
of grade 304 steel. The material has carbon, manganese, silicon,
phosphorus, sulfur and 18% chromium and 8% nickel. Yuhong is a

The minimum yield strength of the tube is 170MPa and the minimum
tensile strength of the tube is 485MPa.

Annealed and Pickled Stainless Steel Welded Pipe A249 welded pipe should be solution annealed after welding.
Generally, the heat treatment temperature of austenitic stainless
steel is 1040-1150 degrees Celsius. Different grades have different
annealing temperatures. This process can remove oxide skin, plain
weave and stress relief, making the pipe soft and easy to
manufacture. , After annealing, the stainless steel tube should be
pickled in an acid mixture to remove the oxide scale, clean the
surface, and then form an oxide film to protect the tube under
passivation conditions. Bright Annealed Stainless Steel Welded Pipe Bright Annealed (BA) finish is another surface condition that
increases the brightness level of the surface of the tube for a
cleaner surface and is a perfect addition to the annealed
passivation finish.
