Monel 400 is a very popular nickel-copper alloy with better
properties, which is often used in more critical and
high-performance applications. Monel 400 has high strength,
excellent acid and alkali resistance, and good thermal conductivity
and ductility. This alloy can maintain its excellent
characteristics and performance in the temperature range of minus
to 1,000°F (538°C). Monel 400 can only be hardened by cold working.
