ASTM A312 TP904L Alloy 904/N08904 (1.4539) Large OD Steel Pipe

Originally intended for those applications involving dilute sulfuric acid, 904l stainless steel tubing is widely used in the chemical processing industry. Specifically, stainless steel 904l pipe or also known as UNS N08904, used in the production of phosphate based fertilizers. 904l seamless pipe is considered a super austenitic stainless grade with added molybdenum and copper content in its alloy to enhance its mechanical or corrosion resistance.

Description

Material 1.4539 (Alloy 904L) is an austenitic special steel with high molybdenum, high copper and very low carbon content.
Our product range in 1.4539 includes pipes, fittings and flanges, fittings.

Some of the quality tests carried out by our quality department includes:

Corrosion Test	Only when specifically requested by the customer
Chemical Analysis	Conduct tests according to required quality standards
Destructive / Mechanical Testing	Tensile \| Hardness \| Flattening \| Flare \| Flange
Reverse-bend and Re. flat tests	Fully compliant with relevant standards and ASTM A-450 and A-530 specifications, ensuring trouble-free extension, welding and use on the client side
Eddy Current Testing	Done to detect homogeneities in subsurface by using Digital Flaw-mark Testing System
Hydrostatic Testing	100% hydrostatic test, check pipe leaks according to ASTM A 450 specification, the maximum pressure we can support is 20Mpa/7s.
Air Under Pressure Test	Check for any signs of air leakage
Visual Inspection	After passivation, each tube is subjected to a thorough visual inspection by trained personnel to detect surface defects and other defects
