Overview

Copper-nickel C70600 is also known as copper-nickel 90/10 because it consists of 10% nickel or ASTM B111 and ASME SB111. The C70600 is known for its medium strength, weldability and formability. The inclusion of controlled amounts of iron and manganese also gives the 90/10 alloy extraordinary resistance to general corrosion and stress cracking, as well as to erosion and shock due to turbulent water containing bubbles and silt flowing at high speed.

Copper-ammonia-nickel flanges have good strength at relatively high temperatures. Some common applications for Cu pro nickel pipe flanges include faucets, steel flanges, pump components, steel pipe fittings and various Marine hardware components. Cupramine-nickel flanges provide designers and designators with excellent resistance to stress corrosion, erosion and biological contamination in seawater and brackish water, excellent manufacturing and welding performance, high resistance to hydrogen bitterness, and mechanical properties from low to low temperatures.
